Abstract


Objective To analyse the changing characteristics of serum uric acid levels of healthy population.Method We selected 400 healthy persons from the Healthy Medical Center of Second Affiliated Hospital of Suzhou University as cases who accepted physical examinations from July 2007 to July 2010, recorded health-related information took a health examination and measured serum uric acid levels.Results There were significant difference on uric acid of certain age groups between men and women(the age group of 31-40 t = 7.838, p <0.001, the age group of 41-50 t = 5.978, p <0.001, the age group of 51-60 t = 4.880, p <0.001, the age group of 61-70 t = 2.608, p <0.011). There was a positive relation between the uric acid and the body mass index. within healthy men, there was no difference about the uric acid among each age groups(F=1.224,P=0.302). within healthy women, there was significant difference about the uric acid among each age groups (F = 1.224, P = 0.000).Conclusion within healthy population,during the age group of 30-70,the serum uric acid of men was significantly higher than women. The greater the body mass index was, the higher the uric acid level was. within healthy men, there was no significantly difference about the uric acid among each age groups.within healthy women group, serum uric acid level of the age group of 30-50 was significantly lower than the age group of 50-80. PARTⅡThe correlative research on Levodopa impact on serum uric acid levels of patients with Parkinson’s diseaseObjective To analyze the effect of serum uric aicd levels of patients with Parkinson’s disease who took levodopa, and discuss the relationship between the uric acid levels and levodopa dose.Methods We selected 103 outpatients who identified Parkinson’s patients in Second-Affiliated Hospital of Suzhou University during 2007—2010 and divided them into two groups: with and without taking levodopa medication group.Choosing 103 healthy persons who accepted physical examination in our hospital as control group. Two groups are matched in age,sex and weight. Anylyse the serum uric acid levels of patients with Parkinson’s disease who took levodopa compare with who took no mendicine, and the anylyse the correlative relation of Levodopa impact on serum uric acid levels of patients with Parkinson’s disease.Results The uric acid levels of patients with Parkinson’s disease taking L-dopa were significantly higher than those of patients without taking medication, particularly in female patients, but lower than those of the control group. There was a positive correlation(r=0.2801,p=0.0443) between the serum uric acid levels of the patients with Parkinson’s disease who taking L-dopa and the levodopa dose ,especially in female patients(r=0.4779,p=0.0157).Conclusion The uric acid level of the Patients taking levodopa is higher than those who were not taking levodopa, especially in female patients, and the more daily levodopa dose Parkinson’s patients took,the higher level of serum uric acid was .
