Abstract


Identity issues in the context of globalization, has become a hot topic in academia, especially for the Chinese-American writer, on the one hand, they think he is \On the other hand, they can not escape the influence of Chinese culture, strong and invisible. Amy Tan is one of the popular in recent years, the Chinese-American woman writer, works explore her identity by describing the emotional entanglements between Chinese mothers and American-born daughter embodied. This thesis is based on the theory of cultural criticism for guidance aims to study their cultural identity through the analysis of the mother-daughter relationship in the two semi-autobiographical novels of Amy Tan's \At the same time, the unique cultural background of the Chinese-American writer and writing skills, making the cultural identity study more micro-oriented and in-depth, which will inevitably have a major impact on the Study of Chinese Literature in the Context of Globalization. The authors collected information in the field of Chinese-American literary studies, cultural identity issues yet to form a complete system. For the study of the works of Amy Tan, mainly focused on the issue of things embodied cultural themes and works of their mother-daughter relationship conflict, while the theme of cultural identity and works in the mother-daughter relationship, the author analysis writers writing the context of globalization to proceed, will combine the two, and to explore the practical significance of the Writers' for this problem; different from any American scholar, I expect can make use of local cultural resources, provide a new perspective. The papers in the analysis of the relationship between writer writing in the context of globalization and cultural identity studies, the theme of the works of Amy Tan's mother-daughter relationship and cultural identity issues combine to reveal the intrinsic relationship and consistency. Ultimately concluded that the Chinese-American writer trying to work to show the identity of mixed personal experiences and feelings. They experienced from silence to deconstruction and reconstruction, and then to explore the process of reconciliation and integration of this process, mainly in Amy Tan's novel by the mother-daughter relationship, conflict and reconciliation to achieve. At the same time, the paper further pointed out that the outcome of the reconciliation of the mother-daughter relationship reflects the writer's intention of writing, this symbol of the writing of the conflict with the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures, but also indicates that Eastern and Western cultures can be achieved on the basis of mutual understanding and mutual influence equal dialogue possibilities.
