Abstract

The purpose of this study was aimed at seeking a standardized cervical images digitized information conversion standards , make -chip digital cephalometric the cervical image information can be more accurate , objective to be converted into digital information . Also want to convert digital data from standardized analysis associated with age -sensitive indicators , and then explore the feasibility of the use of the digital cephalometric on-chip cervical image quantitative prediction of Chinese adolescents age . Standardized measurement method using the image processing software and electronic ruler 122 8 ~ 13 years of age youngsters digital cephalometric piece cervical images . According to the the cervical body appearance with age - related characteristic changes , put forward the third and fourth cervical vertebra twelve indicators and significance stepwise multiple regression analysis testing indicators for the regression equation . The results of the study to obtain two sets of regression equation : Men Y = - 4.109 - 1.508X1 1.964X2 2.811X3 - 1.628X4 (r = 0.981) , where Y is the predictive value of age for PH3/AP3 , X1 , X2, AH3/H3 , X3 H3/AP3, X4 AH3/PH3; Women Y = 11.031 1.005X1 0.984X2 1.461X3 ( r = 0.974 ) , that wherein Y predicted values ??for age , X1 is AH3/AP3 X2 is AH3/H3 X3 for H3/AP3. Conclusion Based on the standard on -chip digital cephalometric third and fourth cervical image digitizer , you can increase the accuracy and repeatability of the interpretation of X-ray film , and can facilitate the quantitative analysis of the age .
