Abstract


\Jane Rees \boundless \Jane Rees reverses the perspective of Charlotte Bronte \out of the attic , tells a compelling past . \This paper attempts from the perspective of gender, personality, ethnicity , history , culture , read Jean Rhys 's \tragic character , ethnic , historical , cultural and geographical reasons . This paper is divided into three chapters except the preface and epilogue . The preamble of Jean Rhys 's life and creation as well as domestic and foreign works of Jane Rees Research ; Chapter discusses \its decisive impact placed deep in the works \Thought ; Chapter III analyzes focus concentrated on the reasons for the failure of the marriage between Rochester and Antoinette , come to the colonists from the mind to the action to be severely affected and harmed not only of the colonized people , but also subtly distorted the originally pure soul of their own people ; Conclusion part is a summary of the full text .
