Abstract

Objective: To lower extremity deep vein thrombosis is one of the common diseases of the vascular surgery continue to improve its treatment of lower extremity deep vein thrombosis after formal thrombolysis, anticoagulation and surgery-based integrated treatment of recurrence after treatment failure the main reason. Over the past 10 years has been widely used for the prevention of pulmonary embolism inferior vena cava filter placement, but the placement of the filter may be an important risk factor for recurrence after treatment of deep venous thrombosis, the purpose of this article is to explore the inferior vena cava filter placement with deep vein thrombosis recurrence after treatment relationship, and given the indications recommended placing inferior vena cava filter. Methods: A retrospective analysis of hospitalized since January 2002 to March 2009 in our hospital diagnosis of deep venous thrombosis cases a total of 304 cases excluded 14 cases of hospitalized patients who died of pulmonary embolism, and not through formal thrombolysis or surgical comprehensive treatment based on bed rest only eight cases of patients lost to follow patients 21 cases, a total of 261 cases the diagnosis of deep venous thrombosis patients met the inclusion criteria. 130 cases were male, female 131 cases. , Depending on the outcome of the formation of deep venous thrombosis (DVT) were divided into relapse group and the non-recurrence group, initial screening of clinical experience and literature into 11 may cause a recurrence of the relevant factors of age, gender, typing, is placed under vena cava filter, the incidence of acute and chronic, are suffering from limb, whether complete anticoagulation therapy, whether the line embolectomy surgery other surgical treatment, and whether the line, whether using pressure cycling socks treatment, whether positive movement using multivariate logistic regression to estimate the parameters and hypothesis testing, regression coefficients obtained each variable P value, OR estimates and 95% CI, screened meaningful indicators. Results: eliminate using multivariate logistic regression analysis of age, gender, and typing in the interaction between various factors, are suffering from limb, the incidence of acute and chronic, and whether the line embolectomy surgery, whether physically active seven factors was not statistically significant. Placed inferior vena cava filter, anticoagulant therapy is not completed, typing and not the line pressure cycling socks treatment of deep venous thrombosis independent risk factor for recurrence after treatment. Conclusion: The results of this study show that the inferior vena cava filter placement is an important risk factor for recurrence after treatment of deep venous thrombosis, inferior vena cava filter placement indications for surgery pending further discussion. Relapse after treatment using pressure cycling socks treatment and norms of anticoagulation therapy in the prevention of deep vein thrombosis have important clinical implications.
