Abstract

Objective: To investigate the effect of Salvia experimental pulmonary fibrosis . Methods: Bleomycin A5 solution copy model of pulmonary fibrosis , the mice were ether general anesthesia sit on the lab bench , fixed head and limbs , cut the skin of the neck and trachea disposable Note Rubo Lai neomycin A5 solution , a dose of 5mg/kg. Skin closure after injection , the mice were upright , rotate, try to make the uniform distribution of the liquid in the lungs . A mouse model after 24 hours were randomly divided into blank control group , model group , prednisone acetate group , high dose group Salvia , Salvia group of middle dose . Administration for 28 consecutive days after the lung index , lung histopathological changes and morphological quantitative measurement , using immunohistochemical methods and determination of TGF -β in the lung tissue , MMP2 , NF -κB , affect the formation of Salvia in pulmonary fibrosis . Results: Salvia can inhibit TGF -β induced pulmonary fibrosis in mice and lung tissue of the lung index abnormally elevated of MMP2, NF -κB , relieve pathological damage their lungs . Conclusion : Salvia can alleviate bleomycin -induced pulmonary fibrosis .
