Ob ject i ve:Observing the evaluation of validity and security by using the disp-elling wind and reducing phlegm acupuncture to treat the pseudobulbar paralsy of wind phlegm type,to provide a more objective and detailed basis in the promotion and use of the clinic.Methods:60 cases of the pseudobulbar paralsy patients were randomly divided in-to treatment group and contol group,30 cases in each group. The treatment group were treated with the basic treatment plus the dispelling wind and reducing phlegm acupuncture, the control group were treated with the basic treatment plus the simu-lated acupuncture,the two groups have the same points and treatment,and the total treatment is four. We can analyze and comparize the evaluation of validity and se-curity of two groups by evaluating the symptom score before and after treatment with the swallowing assessment and evaluation of standards,and then conduct sta-tistics.Results:l.The swallowing function of two groups improved after treatment,the effective rate of treatment group is 93.33%, and is sightly higher than the control group(83.33%),There was not significant in difference (P>0.05),but the cure rate of treatment group is 13.33%,the markedly effective rate is 63.33%,and is signifcantly higher than the control group(P<0.01).2.The main symptom score of two groups were significant improvement after treatment(P<0.01, P<0.05),but the treatment group improved more significantly than the control group(P<0.05, P <0.01).3.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.66%, and it was slightly higher than the total effective rate of the control group(70.00%), there was not significant difference between the two groups (P> 0.05),but the cure rates of the treatment group was 13.33% and the effective rate was 70.00%,it was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.01).4.The was no obvious adverse reactions and other security problems of the two groups during the treatment.Conclusion:The dispelling wind and reducing phlegm acupuncture was very use-ful for the pseudobulbar paralsy,it can significantly improve the symptoms and sig-ns of the pseudobulbar paralsy,and it was safe and inexpensive,so it is worth of re-searching and promoting in the clinic in further.
