Abstract


Post-investment Activities is one important step of venture capital operating mechanism, which includes two basic contents that is risk control and value added service. Towards the venture capital firms,with post-investment activities they can help the venture capitalists to avoid the moral hazard, and achieve the maximum capital appreciation of the venture company. Towards the venture company, post-investment activities can help company improve the management and achieve the maximum capital appreciation of the venture company. Therefore, post-investment activities benefit for both of venture capital firms and venture company. Through the developing experiences of American venture capital industry, there are basic functions of venture capital that is capital supply and value added service. and more and more efforts the American venture capitalists did is to supply value added services to overcome the seriously information asymmetry and protect the capital benefit. But at present venture capital industry in China ignore the importance of post-investment activities but only appreciate the step of capital supply.The research to the post-investment activities began since the middle of eighties of 20th century,the main direction of researches is what do post-investment activities do and the relationship between post-investment activities and performance of venture company. The main research approach is the“Hard System Methodology”.Overall, the number of research about post-investment activities is few, the way of the research is narrow, and lack of special researches. And the research about post-investment activities began much more later. This passage is based on many related researches, and selects a new way of research that is“Total Systems Intervention”. Using“Soft System Methodology”to solve the problem through the Post-investment Activities, and perfect the administrative mechanism of post-investment activities.The in-innovations are selecting a brand new angle and method to research the problem in the post-investment activities, and using Total Systems Intervention to looking for the method of dissolve the conflict during the post-investment activities, at the same time through real-life case details the methodology of implementation steps .This passage can help the venture capitalists to find a new method and channel to participate in the management of the company, and supply a new train of thought in structuring the post-investment activities administrative mechanism.
