Abstract


Firstly, an overview of surface science characterization methods , and then discuss the principle of SPM and SPM in TiO 2 surface application of the research , and finally the use of the AFM experiments on the titanium base whisker research work introduction. The purpose of this study is to take advantage of the AFM the whisker surface structure of the titanium-based research, and expectations of titanium-based whiskers in the the catalyst composite catalyst carrier 's application can provide some useful information . Therefore, we carried out the following experimental work : 1. Potassium titanate whisker of the AFM to Japan to study the morphology and surface structure image . 2. Using AFM our group prepared titanium based whiskers were studied to obtain a morphology image and the surface structure on image . Morphology image is basically consistent with the SEM results from the K 2 < / sub> Ti 4 O 9 < / sub > K 2 Ti < sub > 6 O 13 , K 2 Ti 8 O 16 to TiO 2 < / sub> morphology remains whisker shape . However , the high - resolution image of the surface structure that K 2 the Ti 4 O 9 < / sub > K 2 < / sub> Ti < sub> 6 O 13 , K 2 Ti 8 O 16 to TiO 2 surface structure evolution . 3. AFM and IR study results show that the K 2 0.6TiO 2 PTFE 5% was heated in an electric field titanate plasma surface modification of potassium titanate whisker potassium whisker better surface modification . Further, in order to improve the photocatalytic activity of the titanium oxide whisker surface of the deposition of Pt metal , resulting AFM images showed that the Pt particle surface of titanium oxide whisker , still further experiments . 4. Lateral force microscopy (LFM) of potassium titanate whisker , found significantly different frictional properties of potassium titanate whisker and matrix mica , Six potassium titanate whisker surface frictional properties are relatively uniform , the signal the difference between the main potassium titanate whisker surface morphology and downs .
