Abstract


The paper to Adaptation Theory Verschueren1999 for the theoretical framework conform to the structure of language and communicative context respond to two angles on the sitcom \In this paper, a detailed analysis of the selected language of the characters in the process of generating humor and strategy . From the point of view of language structure conform to analyze the characters in pronunciation, vocabulary , sentence and discourse level selected humorous language and pragmatic strategy ; analyzed the characters conform to the physical world from the point of view of the Communicative Context Adaptability ( time, space and appearance ) , social ( social relationships , etiquette and background) and the psychological world ( personality, emotions, beliefs and motivation ) selected to generate a humorous way . By analyzing the sitcom humor is the result of the selection of the appropriate language of the characters conform to the structure of language and communicative context . In this study, the significance of the dynamic interpretation of sitcom humor , but also examined the explanatory power of the Adaptation Theory of specific linguistic phenomena . The paper consists of three parts . The first and third parts were the introduction and conclusions of the paper . The second part is the main body of the paper is divided into three chapters . The first chapter reviews the a humorous Research .
