Abstract


Dabusu Lake National Nature Reserve of Jilin was established in 2002. This reserve plays a major role in the protection of biodiversity and natural relic, especially in the protection of the geomorhopologic landscapes of mud forest, many types of wetlands and national protected birds. Surrounded with a large number of villages and farmland, the environmental quality and ecological conditions of Dabusu Lake Nature Reserve are significantly degraded. Also the tourism development and oil development accelerate this degradation process. Therefore, in order to protect the Dabusu Lake Nature Reserve and the national protected birds, this paper examined the states of the ecological environment and analysed the present condition of the reserve. Then, based on the above analysis, this paper proposed some ecological environment countermeasures for protecting the reserve.Based on the analysis of nature, society and natural resources of the reserve, this paper determined the reserve’s natural and socio-economic situation, the quantity and quality of the main protection and its conservation value. At the same time, this paper found the primary limiting factors for the development of Dabusu Lake National Reserve. The researches showed that the primary limiting factors include natural factors, human factors and policy factors. According to the primary limiting factors for the development of the reserve, this paper proposed protecting measures.These measures were chiefly concerned with water resources utilization, ecological reserve of the oil development and the structure of industries. The rearches in this paper may offer some references and gist for the protection and the sustainable development of reserves.
