Modern radar function more and more complex , the design , commissioning and testing of the radar system has become increasingly difficult . The development of radar systems to adapt to the modern radar design , debug and test simulator technology is the product of the combination of a digital simulator technology with radar . The radar signal simulator economy, flexible features , you can solve the problem of high cost of field experiments , affected by the weather , and to meet the needs of the research and development of radar systems , so the development of a variety of radar signal simulator for modern radar development, production significance. In this paper, the background airborne phased array radar video signal simulator developed to focus and poor channel target and clutter simulation , radar timing generator and video output of the system design and implementations a more in-depth research . The main work of this paper include: ( 1 ) radar echo signal echo model ( focusing on the target, clutter ) , and part of the implementation of simulator video program . (2) According to the radar interface portion in the general scheme of the system and the requirements of the video output section , to complete the the radar analog source , and D / A board design . (3) the completion of the airborne phased array radar simulator the video extension Radar analog source and D / A board PCB fabrication , commissioning work. (4 ) the completion of the relevant procedures of the the radar analog source and D / A board . (5) with the Task Force members for the national \the main technical requirements , the radar signal can be provided to meet an airborne phased array radar ground debugging requirements .
