Abstract


Global digital mobile communication system (GSM) is the world's first digital modulation, the network layer structure and the business to make detailed provisions of a cellular communication system , there are about 179 countries around the world using GSM standard to establish a digital mobile communications network , our from 1995 to start building the GSM network , the development has already has more than 200 million users, has become the world's GSM mobile phone users than any other country . Such a huge number of subscribers to mobile phone production and testing equipment has brought a huge market and commercial interests , the current domestic mobile phone has occupied half of the domestic market . But the domestic mobile phone test equipment is a blank , so the development and production of GSM mobile phone tester significant. The topic for the development of GSM mobile phone tester baseband signal processing a lot of work related to the protocol , including GSM , GMSK modulation and demodulation , channel coding and decoding , frame structure and complex signaling organization , which is the development of mobile phone test equipment important and difficult . In this paper, the author completed the GSM standard 0.3GMSK modulation and multi- DSP ??interrupt communication between program design and commissioning work are summarized. The first chapter introduces mobile phone tester developed background , hardware and software system architecture , and DSP system development and simulation environment . Chapter Two commonly used in digital mobile communication system modulation and demodulation departure compared several methods to achieve GMSK modulation , orthogonal modulation waveform storage proposed implementation of the basic principles of GMSK modulation . Chapter III from mobile phone tester DSP system design , combined baseband DSP board transmitter module hardware design is discussed in detail quadrature modulation waveform storage procedures implemented GMSK modulation ideas and processes, and the waveform of the modulated signal is given to verify the program correctness of the design . Chapter IV describes the TMS320VC5409 interrupt resources , and to multi-DSP baseband board to interrupt the communication between the implementation, given the launch DSP interrupt service routine designed specific processes and experimental results .
