The High Power Microwave(HPM) technology is a new and frontier science which rose in the 1970s.For it was broadly apllied in many areas such as military,scientific research,industry machining,new material preparation and medicine, biology,etc.and because of the continuing demands of higher power,higher energy and higher frequency microwave sources in military and scientific research,the young science has developed rapidly and is receiving widespread attention in past three decades. Bing high power resources of millimeter-wave radiation,based on electron cyclotron maser,gyrotron has been pay much respect in the world for vast applications in many areas such as plasama calefaction,linear accelerators,millimeter wave radar, communications,electronic countermeasure and so forth.Prof.Liu Shenggang began the research on electron cyclotron maser,and later,the group leaded by Prof.Li Hongfu has done much research work on gyrotron also,,And later,they have began the research on a kind of gyrotron amplifier------gyroklystron. Gyroklystron is a new microwave apparatus,Because it integrates advantages of gyrotron and klystron,and has vast applications in radar area,it has been pay much respect in the world. High frequency system in high power resources of millimeter-wave radiation,such as resonator system,it’s capability performs a vital role in whole high power microwave system. Computer simulation is necessary in design process.Basing on academic analyzing,simulation of resonator system with computer assistant tools will be very useful to optimize the apparatus designing. Combined with the important item"The study on 8mm high power gyroklystron",The dissertation academically analysed and simulated the resonator system of a four-cavity, 35 GHz gyroklystron amplifier,via a great lot of computer simulation, analysed and compared many parameters and design schemes. The main works of this dissertation are list as following:1.Basing on the basic theories of resonator,studied the common method of resonator researching. Programmed with Matlab to calculate the numerical solution of exceeding equation in coaxial cavity,not take loss into account. Basing on the field-matching theory,studied cavity with abrupt transitions structure at both ends;2. Basing on the theories of finite element method, analysed computer simulation of high frequency structure in resonator;3.Compared effects to resonate frequency and fields caused by coupling slots of buncher in different azimuth;4. Analysed effects to coupling efficiency and fields in resonator caused by size change of coupling slots,and lots of simulation involved also.
