Abstract

This paper describes the main method to improve traffic safety in road transport , and describes the composition and Research of the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) . ITS is the integration of state-of-the-art information technology, data communication technology , electronic control technology and computer processing technology used in the road transport system , and to establish a real-time , accurate , efficient and integrated transport management system , and ultimately the management of road transport intelligent and services . This article for intersections prone turn, collision status , a driver's visual support system . Road surveillance cameras set the appropriate place in the intersection , the driver the intersection road picture of the images obtained from the camera tips so that the driver can observe the condition of the dead ends , to take timely measures . The system uses image processing technology, the image is converted from the camera angle for images observed from the driver 's point of view , in order to generate a new prompt image , and the use of two-dimensional projection transformation method , greatly improving the speed of computer processing . And the three prompts image generation method . Observations suggest that image for the convenience of the driver , the the prompt image projection head - up display on the front glass , and to build a simulation of the actual operation of the pilot experimental system . Through the experiment, preliminary evidence that the system is reliable , good tracking effect , basically meet the design requirements .
