Objective To improve the diagnosis and treatment of renal angiomyolipoma . Methods A retrospective analysis of 69 cases of renal angiomyolipoma treated from January 1994 to December 2003 , its pathology , clinical features, diagnosis , and treatment of the analysis and discussion . Results is benign renal angiomyolipoma (Renal angiomyolipoma, RAML) , few specific clinical signs and symptoms rely mainly on imaging tests to confirm the diagnosis , ultrasound is a simple means of screening CT is qualitative and positioning the most reliable method of diagnosis , but should pay attention to the the RAML three components constitute the differences caused by different performance . Intraoperative frozen biopsy of atypical cases is necessary , rapid immunohistochemical staining can improve the correct rate . The treatment should follow the principle of nephron-sparing and protecting renal function , minimally invasive technique with surgical trauma , less pain and faster recovery , worth promoting . Conclusion Renal angiomyolipoma is a benign tumor , rely mainly on imaging examinations for diagnosis , nephron-sparing and protect renal therapy should be followed by Zhejiang University Medical College, a master's degree thesis principles of minimally invasive surgery has a good application prospect .
