Abstract


This thesis is about to examine the consciousness of "Nostalgia" and its aesthetic style in the literary texts from the opinion of philosophical ontology."Nostalgia" in the literary and artistic works is a kind ofaesthetic activity which is different from that in daily life. This article begins with the theory of psychology of aesthetics, then sets up a framework based on The Phenomenology of Aesthetics. The soul ofthe "Nostalgia" is not its physical or historical realities but itsemotional imaginations and intentions in the subject’s memories. Hence, this thesis is to find out the basic intentions or factuality deep into the bottom of nations’ tradition and culture, untilto arrive the Lebenswwelt. Though the consistent of oriental and western culture differentiates from each other, their dilemma and problems confronting to modernization are of the same.Through the analysis to the "Nostalgia"in the literary texts,thisthesis assume that collective and individual "Nostalgia" are the mirrors which deeply reflected the constructions of the Eastern and the Western’s national characters and psycho-cultural accumulations.
