Compliment appreciation of language is a positive verbal behavior, social \As a general phenomenon , compliment appreciation of language plays an important role in the communication and exchanges between people . It is able to express the friendship between the people , to promote harmonious relations between people . It is not just a form of language but also on behalf of a culture. Previous research also shows that this speech act is in fact extremely complex , in particular, to analyze the language , social and cultural aspects of the research . Chinese and English compliment appreciation of language form , topic, response , and social function were analyzed , exploring compliment similar appreciation of language in the context of two cultures and differences compared , focusing on their differences analysis . The analysis of the two works , a drama of the famous Chinese writer Lao She Teahouse , another British writer Jane Austen 's novel \The former represents the culture of old China , the latter on behalf of the British in the early 19th century , the end of the 18th century .
