Abstract


The british scholar Clifve Bell ,as a founder of the theory Formalism believes that :the beauty is a meaningful form .The parts or the elements of the art are arranged in a special order,then formed the beauty sense.Therefore,the manner of the parts or the elements which arranged is extremely meaningful .The Classic Narratology , which belongs to The Formalism also deemed that:we should pay attention to the unique characters and the discipline of the art themselves ,considered them as independent and self-sufficiency things .Based on the aboved-mentioned theory , I started my research about Xuxu’s novels. But, there are some defects of this theory yet, which decides it’s not appropriate to discuss the formation of the novel themselves isolatedly. Then, I neutralized it from two questions: how to narrate a story? and why narrating the story in this way? Just from this point,my paper developed in this way :How to narrate a story? First, using a structure which is obvious to tell us a story which is happened in another universe; Then, narrated one and one story in a concise and rapid way, which stories are similar. At last, there are two patterns of the novels: comedy and tragedy. According to the patterns, we see the believers falling down and the clever person getting happiness. From this, we got the reason why the author so interested in narrating a story.Believing and persisting, but went to the ruins; we turned round, to pursuing the pathetically happiness, it’s a betray to our faith still. We have no choice, our lives are doomed to be tragedy , everyone is a life which is pathetic. Who was been endowed the right to critic others? So, let’s just telling a story . That is why the author telling a story in that way.
