The Tang and Song dynasties legend novels of great significance in literary history. Those novels have a profound impact on later operas.This paper study on Yuan and Ming and Qing dynasties operas which were adapted or transplanted from the Tang and Song dynasties legend novels. They compare with the original in theme,characters and plot structure.In terms of theme, the corresonding later operas in the subject exist inheritance,weakening and strengthening and change the four adaptations.The subject of succession of the most common include chivalry,religion and love.Part of the operas just adapted the original novels to an important section, so they inherited part of the original thought only. Those opera themes appeared on two forms of weakening and strengthening. The other operas, based on their writers creative intent, borrow the original fiction stories, the themes of the original changed substantially, made into new re-create literatures.In terms of characters, Later corresponding operas because of the change background and other factors, remodeling of the original novel characters.The people in the Yuan dynasty operas with Civilian features.The Ming and Qing Operas positive character features with faithful,filial piety and loyalty. In artistic skills, Opera is performing arts, character appearance presented by the actors, but the characters in the novels is uncertain appearance.The operas which express psychological emotion with the lyrics and spoken, use idioms and create a artistic conception to render the atmosphere. The drama more attention the details. AS Opera has "body speak"features,so many characters described by Opera autors appear sustenance features. In addition, the Opera more emphasis on shape minor characters, secondary characters in the opera were more fully used.In terms of plot structure, the later opera writers for expression of themes and characterization needs, to critical the unreasonable reality, in order to meet the audience appreciate the psychological and other factors, they may re-creat the original plot of the novels. In art skills,the later dramas in the plot with the original novels have their own unique styles. First,for the different text systems and different audiences,opera will cancel the use of pre-narration of the original novel of suspense.Second,multi-purpose mistake and coincidence were used to increase interests and means.Third,drama to highlight the dramatic, to create a "dummy"to series plot.Last,mostly opera always have a happy ending. Finally, a lot of dramas have humor section which rarely seen in the original novels, it play funning atmosphere, shaping the character, educating the people.In this paper, multi-angle comparison, generalize analysis, statistics, entirety and Individual, combining literary and historical methods were used. According to the results of multiple comparison, from the background, motivation of adaptation and transplantion, appreciation groups, stylistic differences, study the differences between before and after works. Then examine the Tang and Song novels the close link with the corresponding opera, summarize the art of re-creation in the adaptation of certain regular pattern.
