Abstract


The important thought of “Three Representatives”is the latest theoretical achievement of Marxism in China, and is guiding ideology which CPC should stick to during a long period. The important thought of “Three Representatives” has close connections with the principal contradiction of the primary stage of socialism. In process of all-over constructing well-off society, the contradiction, between increasingly material and cultural needs of the masses and backward social production, is still social principal contradiction. But the principal contradiction and its both sides have appeared a few new problems, which requires CPC handle with it on an innovational theoretical thinking. The important thought of “Three Representatives” has important instruction significance, not only to recognize and grasp principal contradiction, but also to solve principal contradiction. This paper mainly consists of three parts .The first part explores that principal contradiction of the primary stage of socialism is one of the dependences on which “Three Representatives” is put forward, and points out that representing development demand of advanced productivity, representing proceeding direction of advanced culture, representing fundamental interest of the masses, are based on scientific analyze towards the principal contradiction of the primary stage of socialism. The second part brings to light that the important thought of “Three Representatives” is inheritance, innovation and development to principal contradiction theory, and makes our party’s recognition to principal contradiction raise a new theoretical level. This part includes that the important thought of “Three Representatives” deeply reveals long-term and universality, functioning law, fundamental goal and relied forces of the principal contradiction. The third part further illustrates that the important thought of “Three Representatives” provides scientific theoretical instruction for the solution of the principal contradiction of the primary stage of socialism. We should, under the instruction of the important thought of “Three Representatives”, take economic development as the central task, promote scientific and technological progress, stick to “three civilizations” harmony development, carry out sustainable development strategy, stick to urban-countryside and regional harmony development, to promote the solution of the principal contradiction of the primary stage of socialism.
