Abstract


Happiness is the eternal theme of human life, and the pursuit of happiness is a powerful driving force of human talent has the right to social development. 20th century, the rise of positive psychology, happiness research have mushroomed all over the world flourish. Our happiness late start but made some research. Most of the research in this area, however, focused on college students, urban residents, the elderly, the military as a special group of less research, and the soldiers involved in the study of happiness of retired army officers, grassroots cadres and non-commissioned officers . However, very few soldiers as the most important part of the primary forces combat effectiveness research, so this study Israeli man-made objects to study the characteristics of their happiness and their relationship with social support. In addition, the need to belong, the domestic has been mainly theoretical discussion. Abroad need to belong more systematic and empirical quantitative research, this study is the need to belong, explore attributable happiness is affected by the impact of social support. In summary, this study of 302 military personnel and 361 local college students need to belong, social support and happiness questionnaire, analysis of the general characteristics of the servicemen happiness. On this basis, a local college for the general sample analysis of the factors that affect the well-being, and then study the unique nature of the soldiers happiness influencing factors, and to explore the military need for affiliation, social support and happiness among. The conclusions are as follows: First, military groups need to belong and social support was not significantly correlated, but vested in the student population has significant correlation with social support. Second, the need to belong to a significant positive correlation and subjective well-being was not significantly correlated score and psychological well-being and happiness. Third, social support significant predictor of happiness. The need to belong in the group of students from the part of the intermediary role of social support on subjective happiness and psychological well-being. Fourth, compared servicemen and local college students, the need to belong, social support and happiness are different. Finally, this conclusion on the basis of the characteristics of the military need for affiliation, social support and well-being of the troops carry soldier happiness educate and improve the cohesion and fighting capacity in the units proposed recommendations.
