Abstract


Establish a sound , reasonable , fair social security system , the countries in the world face a common issue . Since the mid-eighties of the last century , in improving the urban social security system , China made ??a lot of positive , fruitful exploration and practice , initially formed the basis of social insurance, social relief , social welfare , the basic pension , basic health care, minimum security systems focus on charity and commercial insurance to supplement the social security system framework . With the vigorous development of China 's social security , social security research field also will continue to expand . Many scholars from different levels , different perspectives and analysis of the problems of the social security system , the construction and improvement of the system , such as the endless variety of perspectives , but for trade unions to participate in the social security system theory and research is still in the exploratory stage of their own work in the field lack the necessary theoretical guidance . Safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the unions most basic , the most important duties of union participation in the social security system , building a socialist harmonious society is significant . The authors hope that through the practice of many years of work , further study of the unions involved in the positioning of the social security system , difficult problems due as well as trade unions . This paper tightly around the trade unions to improve the social security system of the theory and practice of the main line , elaborated and discussed issues related to the theory of social security and trade union protection theory , focusing on analysis of Chinese trade union source to participate in the social security legislation and the establishment of monitoring mechanisms to organize with the characteristics of China's trade unions such as Supplemental Security system and find the trade unions involved in the entry point for the construction of the social security system , in order to better explore to improve the social security system in the areas of intervention and effective way to further improve the trade unions to promote and improve the positive role in the social security system .
