The starch-based foam is an important biodegradable material . Plasticized starch , toughened, reinforced modified and starch extrusion foaming behavior . In this thesis, on the basis of the properties of the starch plastics , partial gelatinization of starch and fiber mixture , add the rest of the starch and mixed dispersion fiber , high-speed mixer to prepare a better dispersion of the fiber-reinforced starch system to discuss fiber content on the tensile properties of the system ; through the appropriate choice of plasticizer , appropriate grades of PVA and appropriate plasticizing process , the starch / PVA blends of thermoplastic processing , discuss plasticizer PVA , water and caprolactam on the physical and mechanical properties of the starch / PVA system , thermal and biodegradable properties. Based on the study of the basic materials , the use of citric acid / sodium carbonate , OBSH , and AC foaming agent , starch, fiber reinforced starch and starch / PVA blends the extrusion foaming research , and system expansion ratio and foam the pore structure were studied .
