Abstract


In poster design area, metaphor of graphic has become one of the important ways in design expression. The author discusses the metaphor of the concept, characteristics and perception from the perspective of cognitive metaphor study; this article describes the concept and the character of metaphor by poster design from the angle of semiotics. And the author also discusses the ways of replacement, comparison and interaction of poster design in order to approach the process to poster design practice.
