Abstract


School-based curriculum development to enter the field of curriculum studies began in the 1960s and 1970s, when it was recognized that the national curriculum has not overcome its own defects, try to seek a curriculum development to make up for its lack of its external. In September 2001, the introduction of China's three course management policies, to establish the legal status of the school-based curriculum development, with the continuous development of new curriculum reform, school-based curriculum development into primary and secondary schools throughout the country. Southwest of many ethnic minority areas, cultural diversity, minority cultural development is worrying, in the face of mainstream culture occupy the reality of the school curriculum materials, the implementation of school-based curriculum development, minority cultures into the curriculum may well be the best way. In this paper, based on analysis of the ethnic groups in southwest history and current situation of school-based curriculum development, multicultural context of school-based curriculum development theory construction of school-based curriculum development practice policy recommendations. Paper is divided into five parts: Part I: Introduction. An overview of the research status of school-based curriculum development, explain the significance of this study and research ideas and methods, and the few notes. Part II: multicultural background, history and current situation of school-based curriculum development. Brief school-based curriculum development history, conducted a questionnaire survey on the southwest minorities (Yunnan, Guizhou) 12 primary and secondary schools, of which there are many problems, the southwest minority school-based curriculum development urgent need to improve and improve. Part III: Theoretical Construction of multi-cultural background based curriculum development. This part of the analysis of multi-cultural background, the unique nature of the ethnic groups in southwest school-based curriculum development, the basic concept and value orientation, the initial construction of the basic theoretical framework of school-based curriculum development in a multicultural context. Part IV: practical strategies based curriculum development in the multi-cultural background. For the problems identified with reference to the existing theoretical framework to analyze the impact of the southwest minority school-based curriculum development factors and conditions, drawing on multicultural curriculum development strategy, three kinds of practical strategies proposed the southwest minority school-based curriculum development. Part V: Conclusion. On the basis of the previous analysis, looking southwest minority school-based curriculum development prospects, and to make recommendations on teacher training, and pointed out that the development direction of future research.
