In this paper, Karamay Ecological Agriculture Development Zone , for example, the classification mapping based geostatistics soil systems new method , the main contents are as follows : ( 1 ) the establishment of the grass-roots of Karamay Ecological Agriculture Development Zone Soil Taxonomy classification system . (2) The primary classification factor of the Karamay ecological agricultural development zone soil : the soil surface soluble salts , texture analysis of the spatial variability . Variance function as a basic tool , the application of ordinary kriging for the best linear unbiased interpolation , soil soluble salt produced in the study area , texture, spatial distribution maps . (3) analyzes the basic thinking of Soil Taxonomy mapping based geostatistics . Mapping method and should pay attention to the problem . According to the cartographic practice , mainly the following conclusions : ( 1) to quantify soil classification system is based on using the geostatistical method automated mapping of the soil is feasible , especially in large-scale soil mapping , to better reflect the its superiority , it can be as accurate as possible to reflect the characteristics of small scale spatial variability of soil properties and its distribution pattern . (2) Compared with conventional mapping method , it can under the precondition of ensuring the accuracy of mapping to effectively reduce the number of samples , thus greatly reducing the workload of the outer Survey . ( 3) in the mapping process to achieve a soil mapping automation to reduce human subjectivity , improve the speed and efficiency of the mapping , shorten mapping cycle . (4 ) mapping and high flexibility , map updating soil mapping and classification of sync .
