Abstract


A community’s correction is the means of executing punishment which is opposite to an imprisonment correction. Based Community Correction start with the basic theory, the concept of Community Corrections, characteristics, type, nature and manner as a penalty under the theory conducted in-depth discussions and the development of community correction system for the necessity and feasibility of a demonstration.Article Britain, the United States and other major countries in the Community Correction system are briefly summarized and assessment, and in introducing the experimental work in China’s community correction after the status quo, pointing out how to reform and improve our community correction system made a number of recommendations.
