Abstract


With the development and Convergence of the mobile Internet technolodge along with Pocket PC technolodge, On-line Distance Education has turned into a new kind of teaching method---Mobile Education. Its objection is to realize sharing teaching activities with information at any time in any place, and in any way.M.E began at the end of the 20th century. Because of the limitation of technolodge and commercial cost, M.E was unpopular and developed slowly. However, recently as 2.5G network became popular, 3 G network put in use, WLAN technolodge and smart phone technolodge swiftly developed, the mobile surfing users become more and more rapidly. Those formed the basis of M.E and made it greatly developed. M.E has become the hot research subject in the field of On-line Distance Education and Digitization Learning.Based on the research and discovery of ideas, situations, trends, comparison on M.E, the paper designs and develops a mobile information system which is based on PPC terminal and faces to teachers and students ,furthermore, to offer the campus a main information service business. Moreover, a simulated experiment system has been set up; a wireless network that opens to the campus mobile information service has been planed. Through investigation and research, the paper put the latest HTTP network application service models into use. That made it possible to apply the research results to serve the school and society in a fast way. By using the research results, the school is able to set up different types of campus mobile information services system. Teachers and students are able to obtain various campus information services by means of PPC. The training institutes are also able to enlarge the range of learners and add more time to serve the learners by means of 2.5G, 3G network.The thesis shows us the prosperity of the mobile Internet techno lodge and the application in the field of M-education, which is based on the research on mobile information services system under the specific circumstance.
