The network management is the primary thing to make the network secure and run stably. It covers many scientific areas, which consist of pure technology problem, and of some non-technology problem, such as the management,law,morality, ethic and psychology.The existing network management model divides network management by NOC (Network Operation Center), NIC (Network Information Center), according to OSI (Open System Interconnect)management model block. The network management systems collect their needed data respectively. They manage the original data in their own, and don’t connect with each other, thus forming a lonely information "island" in the network management. And the original data contains the largest information. The suppliers in domestic haven’t developed the technical alliance with each other, leading the same technology and the function can’t compatible with each other. Because of the privacy of MIB, the information that other suppliers provide can’t be fully used, and the bad information interoperability brings confusion to the users, which can’t satisfy the complex network management in campus.Concerning the above aspects, the thesis takes full advantage of the network facilities management function and state information now available, mixing the technology characteristic of the different firms together, and studying the information interoperability in campus network management system,not connecting the management of the network information "island" with each other,analysis of the bad network behavior can be flexibly monitoring to the campus network topology of each node; It can locate the source of the network event and save the original data of the network event in order to trace back the network events; it can establish different management strategies by different network events so as to standardize the customers’network behavior, greatly reducing the network managers’working strength, thus eliminating the affect which the adverse network behavior bring to network performance and security, making the network run securely and stably.
