Abstract


Along with the wide promotion of internet, network techniques and computer application have been developing soundly. At the mean time, information technology is changing the social lives, working method and study method. During this knowledge economy age, more and more enterprises have realized that personnel are the most important resource of the enterprise and that human capital gain is the premise of competitiveness increase. In order to achieve the sound development and effective operation, enterprises should treat the human resource development and training as priority. Facing the over-growing and the training plans which are frequently updated, enterprises learn that it is a necessity to build a wed-based training system, using new technologies, such as network and information.The web-based training system of Western Power, taking full advantage of multi-media technology and computer networking technology, aims to make the training more vivid and flexible; to let education and teaching march out of time and space. In that case, the limited training resource can be fully used and the efficiency of training administration can be greatly promoted. Meanwhile the disadvantages of traditional training system will be challenged and replenished by the web-based training system and training will become more scientific, practical and efficient.This thesis states in details regarding the concept, design and realization of web-based training system. More information as follows:This thesis introduces the current situation of online education both at home and abroad. Starting from the development background, targets, approaches and related technologies, this system analyses the needs for China Western Power, putting forward B/S structure. Basing on relational database theory, this thesis proposes to build a database which treats Access database as DBMS. The operating environment which is supported by this system is also discussed in this thesis. More details are about the total design and design for key functional module. The author lists the table structure of Access and the meaning of each field, studying scripting language code and its influence on functional module. Author shares the feeling regarding developing online training system for China Western Power and also looks into the future of this system.
