With the change of social system and the development of higher education in our country, the mechanism of undergraduate employment has been changed deeply. The difficulty in the undergraduate employment has been the issue of the society. The undergraduates of P.E. specialty are facing more difficult than that students of other specialty in the human resource market, because of their specialty and ability. The undergraduate employment rate of P.E. specialty is the lowest in all specialties. Except reforming physical education curriculum, strengthening the value education (esp. vocational education) may be a useful way to lead its undergraduates to adapt to social changes and select occupation rationally.For this reason, this article takes the undergraduates of P.E. specialty in Hunan province as its study object. At the basis of analyzing these students’ vocational value, the article puts forward advice to the undergraduates of P.E. specialty to establish right vocational value. The outstanding trait of this article is the association of theoretical methodology and empirical methodology. The theory framework of this research is coming from literatures and its empirical data about the vocational value of undergraduate in P.E. specialty from interview and questionnaire.In my point, the characteristics of vocational value of P.E. specialty graduates in Hunan province are higher expectation, less preparation, utilitarian occupation standard, blindfold occupation position, paradoxical selection and lower satisfaction for the P.E. specialty. It may be formed by environment, colleges, families and the students themselves. Part five advances the countermeasures by which the colleges should help the undergraduate of P.E. specialty to set right vocational value, including of establish the system of vocational value education, reforming the mode of P.E. specialty, increasing the quality of students, and optimizing the atmosphere of vocational value education.
