Abstract


The rapid development of modern information technology has produced deep influence over education and teaching process. Researches and explorations into the application of information technology to teaching have been well carried out in some developed countries and areas. In our country, the researches concerning applying information technology to teaching has also run for several years. In this case, applying information technology to teaching is an inevitable tendency, thus the reform of traditional teaching mode is a must. Targeting at the teaching pattern of senior high school ideology and politics teaching, this dissertation combines the concepts of senior high school curriculum reform for ideology and politics, evolves on the basis of behaviorism theories, cognitive theories and constructionist theories, and explores how to carry out ideology and politics teaching in the environment of modern information technology.This dissertation consists five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction which sums up the background, the existing results of research at home and abroad, the goal, the contents and the significance of my study. The second chapter expounds the theoretic basis including the concept of teaching mode, the comparison between the information-based teaching modes and the traditional method and the theory upon which the information-based teaching mode is constructed. The third chapter introduces the construction of the IT supported teaching mode of senior high school government class. This part will introduce the question --- exploration mode, case --- interaction mode and task --- cooperation mode. The fourth chapter is about class design and practice, which analyzes the class samples of the three respective teaching modes mentioned in the former chapter. The fifth chapter ventures the conclusion and reflection of the study. It sums up the positive effects of information-based teaching modes and the problems existing in the implementation of these modes.The dissertation delves into the conformity of information technology and teaching mode for ideology and politics in class with the fundamental purposes of overcoming the weaknesses of traditional teaching mode in class, embodying the basic concepts of new curriculum standards, referring to the characteristics of the new teaching material for being practical, original and alive, inspiring the students’ spontaneity in learning cognitively and emotionally, motivating students effectively, providing the students with opportunities to practice their creativity and ability, and finally achieving the aim of students’ independent development.
