Abstract

Anthraquinone compounds is an important chemical raw materials and intermediates. A large number of anthraquinone dyes produced in our country every year, and a large number of industrial wastewater discharged during the producing and dyeing process. Therefore, the importance of studying the anthraquinone compounds in water can not be ignored. Electrochemical method is a green technology that has been widely used to analysis and remove to pollution materials. In this dissertation, the electrochemical properties of the anthraquinone compounds is systematically analyzed by means of a series of electrochemical methods. At first, electrochemical behavior of AQ has been examined by means of cyclic voltammetry(CV) , differential pulse voltammetry(DPV) and square wave voltammetry(SWV) . The experimental results indicate that the electrode process of AQ on the surface of glassy carbon electrode is corresponding to be reversible and with strong absorption. And DPV for determination of AQ in actual samples have been established.Secondly the electrochemical behavior of the anthraquinone dyes have been studied. The results indicate: from the CV of the RBB KN-R, the reversible current peaks appear in the negative potential areas. However, this reduction potential compared to the pure anthraquinone reduction poential is more negative. But from the CV of the DR 3B and the DB 2BLN, there is no clear oxidation peak in the negative potential area, and the reduction peak appears to be obviously the bimodal. From the CV in the positive area we can know that: although the three dyes have amido on their configuration, the characteristic of the CV is not the same. There is an obvious oxidation peak formed by the oxidation of the amido in the CV of the RBB KN-R. The DR 3B has two unconspicuous oxidation peak, the DB 2BLN has only one unconspicuous oxidation peak. All these show that the three anthraquinone dyes put up some homology characteristics, but because of the different configuration and the difference of the substituent groups, position and amount. The location and extent of oxidation - reduction reactions are very different. Finally, the treatment of RBB KN-R dye water with electro-Fenton reagent was studied. Compared with the general biological and chemical methods, the Fenton treatment has more strongpoints, such as: better effect, simpler equIpments, lower cost, and no secondary or associated pollution. Through optimized experimental conditions, including electrolyzing time, current, temperature, pH and the dye original concentration. Found:in the electrolysis time is 60min, as 15.0g/L Na2SO4 electrolyte, the current of 0.2A. electrolysis temperature of 30°C and pH 3.0, the initial concentration of wastewater 0.5mmol/L conditions, CODCr removal can be achieved 82.2%.
