Abstract


The development of the management of information management in universities and colleges have greatly improved with the development of IT networks and the popularity of computer science. In the past decades, the management of our country’s colleges and universities system in the information technology equipment, network infrastructure and office conditions laid a certain foundation. However, with the rapid development of China’s economy and society, the global knowledge-based economy, and the higher education reform, the management in information technology and modernization to China’s colleges and universities put forward higher requirements.Under the above circumstances, the administrative division of changji University has developed a new information system of administration and teaching, with combining C/S (Client/Serve) and B/S/DBMS (Browser/Web Server/Database Manage System, also named B/S). This system employs the system of Oracle10g as its backstage database management, and realizes the edition of C/S structure. At the same time, B/S structure is realized via ASP. NET. The system uses large scale database Oracle, and both of which shares Oracle database.This system has been used in the division of administrative management of Changji University, including the management of students’school census, teaching plan, achievements, teachers’timetable, and BA thesis, which functions properly in practice. Further exploration is to be done in the quality of teaching evaluation, the teachers’workload and others in the near future.
