Abstract


The next generation network (NGN, Next Generation Network), is the integration of the product of the traditional telecommunications network and Internet network, which implements the phase separation of call control and bearer service control and call control phase separation. Based on two separate business to achieve truly independent of the network, which offers the possibility to build a cross-network business. Softswitch core control function entity in the next generation network, NGN provides call control and connection control functions with real-time requirements of the business. For the purpose of separation of service control and call control, softswitch provides an open service interface for the business layer, this interface is generally Parlay / OSA as standard. Telecommunications network capacity despite the Parlay / OSAAPI open, universal control interface specification, but the Parlay / OSAAPI still is a more complex business interface requires the user to have a higher telecom background knowledge, coupled with CORBA-based distributed calculated to achieve, make learning the Parlay / OSAAPI more difficult. While at the same time, on the Internet, Web Service technology, continuous development, compared with the traditional distributed technology superiority in ease of use, security, and other shows. So a combination of WebService technology ParlayX specification defined ParlayX abstract further the capacity of telecommunications networks, business to third-party developers to provide a more concise, easy-to-understand interface open business. -Depth study of the various businesses of the next generation network technology, analysis the ParlayX technology advantage and a ParlayX Ark softswitch system design platform, the specific work is as follows: 1. The analysis and comparison of the main business of the next generation network technologies, including: the script technology (CPL), SIP-based technology, JAIN technology and Parlay technology. Thus the important status of the to confirm ParlayX NGN open service interface technology. 2. Detailed, in-depth comparison of the differences the Parlay API ParlayX call control interface, and concluded: Parlay API is provided to a third party security network control capabilities, and business ParlayX provided to a third party the ability to use. 3. Ark softswitch system design, the set ParlayX gateway, the main message transmission platform including a ParlayX gateway; Third Party Call interface based on this platform.
