Abstract


The writer has been devoting himself in marketing for China Telecom Corporation Limited Rudong branch (hereinafter referred to as Rudong Telecom) for approximate 15 years, and was there to witness the following stages, the split-off of post and telecommunication in 1998, China telecommunication industry reform in 2002, the reconstruction of telecommunications industry, and the implementation of all-round service from three major providers after receipt of national license of 3G service. Under the background of all-round service, the writer made a deep thought and study on operation strategy in the telecommunication market in Rudong.This article can be divided into six parts:The first part is the prolusion, which indicated the background, purpose and meaning of the selected topic, and then made a brief introduction of the development status of Rudong Telecom, as well as the content and methods involved in this article; The second is the introduction of theory of the strategic management, which introduced some theoretical analysis tools for strategic management, and brought forward the theory of the strategic management involved in telecommunication; The third part took the broad view and the analysis of operation status of before and after the implementation of all-round service, summed up the development status and trend of all-round service, by analyzing the business growth of the three domestic all-round service providers (New Telecom, New Mobile and New Unicom); the fourth part is the analysis of the outside macro-environment and the micro-enterprise environment under the all-round service background, using the analytical tool e.g. PEST and SWOF etc.; the fifth part is the establishment of market development strategy for all-round service for Rudong Telecom; the sixth is the conclusion of the article.
