Abstract


Commercial banks are the main-body parts of the national financial market. Their security and stability are related to the steady safety of national financial system and overall economy. The global financial crisis triggered by the sub-prime lending crisis happened in USA makes academic supervision of commercial banks become an important issue to discuss. Thus, with the gradually accelerating process of financial globalization, world economic integration, and the existence of volatile aspects in the world-wide finance of sub-prime lending crisis, at present, each country has paid much more attention to effective supervision on commercial banks in order to prevent, control and resolve financial crises, and also prevent breaking out financial crisis.Nowadays, joint-stock reform and business transformation of state-own commercial banks have been gradually on track. Meanwhile, the supervision system of commercial banks need to reform so as to adapt the market change. Therefore, the research on effective supervision of commercial banks and the improvement of supervision system are more and more important. How to establish a reasonable and effective monitoring system in the process of prudential supervision and conditional relax banking regulation of commercial banks become more significant and urgent issue. In order to objectively evaluate the status and roles of supervision of commercial bank, further improve the regulatory system in our country, effectively prevent the risk of commercial banks, defuse the financial crisis that may occur in future, This paper, on the ground of the current financial crisis, uses of commercial banks, politic economics, public management and other related theories, by methods of comparative analysis, summarization, and interdisciplinary analysis and so on, systematically analyzes the status of commercial bank supervision system and the challenges, and then propose some measurements to improve and ensure the operation of the supervision systems.This paper, first of all, describes the background, purpose and meaning of this issue, outlines the main reason for the outbreak of the financial crisis, and combines with the impact and evaluation of financial crisis on the developed countries; secondly, points out effective and practical solutions to improve the supervision system, according to the current problem and challenges in the supervision system of commercial banks in our country; at last, points out effective measurements to improve and ensure the operation of the supervision systems of commercial banks in China in order to prevent financial crisis.The article focuses on improving the effectiveness of the supervision system of commercial banks in China, and points out significant specific measurements as the preconditions of improving the overall supervision standard, and sums up implementation steps and effective measures to upgrade the prevention of financial crisis, concentrate on the malpractice of commercial banking system in our country, an international supervision concept and management system as quickly should be established gradually so as to enhance international competitiveness of China national commercial banks.
