Abstract


Foreign exchange reserves are an important part of a country's international reserves , is financing the balance of payments deficit , to intervene in the foreign exchange market to maintain the stability of the exchange rate of the local currency borrowing and repayment of external debt guarantee . China 's foreign exchange reserves are the world 's largest foreign exchange reserves . But hold large reserves a certain price , excessive reserve growth which will create inflationary pressures , so that the currency appreciation pressure on the autonomy of the central bank's monetary policy is restricted to a negative impact on the adjustment of industrial structure and so on. China 's imbalance of international payments , current RMB exchange rate system and foreign exchange management system reserves and the expected appreciation of the renminbi and other factors make China 's foreign exchange reserves continued to grow rapidly . Foreign exchange reserves is too large, will give the national economy has brought many additional economic burden , would produce many adverse effects , resulting in a waste of resources , such as national economic development . China 's current foreign exchange reserves and the modest scale of foreign exchange has great gap . For this part of the foreign exchange reserves should be how to use and manage it ?
