Abstract


Any society’s economical development all is impelled together by many factors, in the commodity money economy long-term developing process, the financial factors’function is growing unceasingly, Specially in the modern economy, the financial factors’importance varies more and more prominently, the emerging industrial nations and after the reform and open policy China’s economy took off the process also to prove this point. Since the finance has so important status in the modern economy, then, the financial movement efficiency condition has the extremely vital significance to the economic society health development and the sustainable development. But in our country, the commercial banks is finance industry main body, Throughout occupies on the dominant position in our country financial system, so, appears to our country commercial banks’efficiency and it’s the influence factors study is extremely essential.This paper studied on commercial banks’efficiency and its influence factors in china by two phases.The first phase is to survey our country commercial banks’efficiency. In the comparison parameter law and in the non-parameter law good and bad points foundation, mainly used the non-parameter method——DEA method to survey our country commercial banks’efficiency. Because the usual DEA method couldn’t recognize which is the best one, choose super-efficiency DEA method to get it. In summarizes the domestic and foreign existing research results foundation, selected the representative 13 commercial banks to take the sample in our country, and 2001～2005 as the sample period. According to the super-efficiency DEA method principle, has surveyed not only operating technical efficiency and complex technical efficiency which reflect the whole efficiency of banks, but also single index technical efficiency which reflect the part efficiency of banks. Then, analyzed the relationship between operating technical efficiency and complex technical efficiency by the Pearson correlated coefficient, and the relationship of each single index technical efficiency with the operating technical efficiency and the complex technical efficiency by factor regression.The second phase is on the analysis on the factors which improve our country commercial banks’efficiency. According to our country commercial banks’characteristic, selected 7 influence factors. Considered between the explanation variable possibly exists multiple collinearity, this paper has separately selected three return models, used eviews5.0 panel data model to analyze the relationship of each influence factor with our country commercial banks’efficiency. Then, in view of enhances our country commercial banks’ efficiency, put forward some improvement proposals.
