Abstract


In recent years, with the rapid development of the Internet and the information industry , the amount of data to show explosive growth , database technology has been widely applied . However, there are a variety of differences in the choice of a data processing system , data sources vary widely , the formation of a huge , heterogeneous database environment , how to become a major problem faced by people sharing these heterogeneous data . XML technology has been appeared in the heterogeneous data exchange shows a powerful force, and quickly became a platform-independent , vendor-independent data format standard , not flexible format of EDI, and other traditional data exchange technology has overcome costly interaction defects and poor. In this paper, the problem of heterogeneous database data exchange research, gives more detailed solutions achieve heterogeneous database based on XML data exchange , and a heterogeneous data exchange instance . In this paper, XML technology to establish a model of data exchange , XML document as the carrier of data exchange , and exchange rules dictionary designed XML document format as a way of human-computer interaction , with the conversion process with pre-defined good conversion rules constrain good solution inserted into the abnormal structure of conflict , semantic conflicts in the conversion process . Also established the structure of the database and the XML Schema , database data and XML documents , database data types and XML Schema data type mapping rules , and a table corresponds to an XML Schema and an XML file mapping rules simplify the structure of the XML Schema document , effective mitigation parsing XML document is too large . Proposed solutions to the large object data exchange problems and security issues in the conversion process , and finally the use of the J2EE standard environment and JDOM API interface and JDBC driver completed the migration of heterogeneous data , and ultimately achieve the goal of a heterogeneous database data exchange .
