Abstract


Urban land use and spatial structure reconstruction are mutual connection, and promotion. Land is the carrier of urban economic development and spatial reconstruction, land use intensity is the decision-making factor of urban spatial reconstruction. Urban spatial structure reconstruction is the reflection of urban land reconfiguration in space, its reasonable degree is an important criterion to measure land benefit.The close combination of urban land use and spatial structure reconstruction is more favorable to find sources. This paper discusses their common driving force and mechanisms of their internal relationships, which are the result of various problems of urban land use and spatial structure reconstruction, then, proposes suggestion.The city of Suzhou, locating Changjiang triangle City-and-town Concentrated Area, is a typical example of extensive fluctuation for urban land use and spatial reconstruction. So the thesis takes Suzhou city as a case study which is more typical and convincing. From multiple angles, writer analyzes the changes of land use and spatial structure reconstruction of Suzhou, and forecasts the trend that future urban land and spatial development. The empirical part’s aims are to see the problems and the necessity of solving problems though analyzing urban land use and spatial structure evolution of Suzhou city. At the same time, it provides reference for similar cities in areas.
