Abstract


With the increasingly fierce market competition, enterprises are facing greater competitive pressures. In order to reduce cost and improve the lead-time meanwhile providing high-quality product and service, a growing number of managers started to pay attention to“lean speed”and“six sigma quality”integration-Lean Six Sigma.The integration of lean production and six sigma made enterprises to check improvement project from two kinds of view of lean production and six sigma. It’s useful for enterprise to focus on apparent problems, employ power tool package to find out potential problem to gain advantage of speed, cost, quality and value. Through using many kinds of technique and method, lean six sigma can reduce variation, improve quality; reconstruct process flow, expedite flow speed, optimize flow; base on improving enterprises’basic management level, realize pull production, just in time manufacture, increase flow’s flexibility. Through providing better quality than competitor, shorter lead-time than others, satisfying client requirement more quickly to retain client’s satisfaction and loyalty, gain higher percent of market occupy, continue to improve quickly, reduce capital investment, improve efficiency and marked response ability, gain advantage which is difficult to imitate for competitors, make stable basis for upgrading enterprises’competitive ability and let enterprise get more benefit.This paper first researched the origin and theoretical basis of lean six sigma methods, introduce the concept of lean product and six sigma, feature of them, and shows the difference between them. This thesis attempts to research the integration of lean production and six sigma, combined with the successful implementation of lean six sigma, build lean six sigma technical system and explore lean six sigma implementation mode. and then analyzed the frustrated reasons of enterprise implement lean six sigma, summary lean six sigma technical system. Base on the success experience that S enterprise implements lean six sigma, summarized lean six sigma implementation flow, which provided a complete reference model for the other enterprises. Finally, bring forward some lean six sigma implementation suggestion.
