Due to natural factors and human social factors, land-use change constantly. Land-use change is one of the main causes of global environmental change. Yarkand River Basin is located in the southwest of Xinjiang in recent years, production of inappropriate human activities has caused a decrease in the amount of water in the middle and lower reaches areas, vegetation degradation, salinization of the land and a series of ecological and environmental problems, land use change significantly. To carry out the Land Use Change of the Yarkand River Basin River region, the area of ??land resources protection against unreasonable development and utilization activities, improve the ecological environment of great significance. Using 1990, 1999 and 2008, three of remote sensing images, the use of GIS spatial analysis methods and mathematical statistical methods, the the Yarkand River Basin River region from 1990 to 2008, the land use changes in the type of transfer, land-use change in amplitude, land use The degree of change, the trend of the land use types, drivers and other aspects of the analysis, the following conclusions: (1) land-use change process analysis of the regional land use change occurs mainly in arable land, grassland, woodland, UN waters and between the saline-alkali soil. From 1990 to 1999, the area of ??grassland to arable land 104080hm2 other wooded land area of ??cultivated land into 10621hm2 forest land converted to arable land area of ??5017hm2 sand into the grass area of ??4129hm2 area of ??cultivated land into human settlements the 1292hm2; 1999 to 2008, the area of ??grassland to arable land 73423hm2 other wooded land area of ??cultivated land into 14303hm2 forest land converted to arable land area of ??10038hm2 the sand into saline area of ??1225hm2, cultivated land into human settlements The area 1611hm2 etc.. (2) land-use change trend analysis, the magnitude of change from the region, the number of various types of land use, speed, and expounded the regional land use trends. Arable land, woodland, beaches, urban land, rural residential land, industrial, mining and transportation land showed a trend of gradual growth; grassland and woodland, shrub land, open woodland, high coverage grassland in coverage, low coverage grassland, canals , sand, swamp was slowly decreasing trend. (3) Land use change in the dominant factor analysis on the basis of the analysis of land use change processes and trends, starting from natural factors, demographic factors, socio-economic factors and policy factors, the land use change in the dominant factor were analyzed. The results show that: the regional land use change is the result of both natural factors and human activities, including rapid population growth, changes in the policy environment is the most important factor.
