Abstract

Target the broadband electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the study have been at an important position in the field of computational electromagnetics , because the study has important practical significance , such as ultra- wideband radar , stealth and anti-stealth technology and are inseparable from the target the broadband electromagnetic scattering characteristics . This article is based on the traditional method of moments (MoM) and combined with the following aspects of the work of a more in-depth study of rapid analysis of the the TVU target of broadband electromagnetic scattering characteristics . First, the basic principles of the MoM concept gives MoM concrete steps to solve the three - dimensional conducting target radar cross section (RCS) . Asymptotic waveform evaluation (AWE) is widely used in target broadband RCS technology and programming to calculate a few simple broadband to the RCS . Then introduced Krylov subspace methods , and several common iterative methods such as dual- conjugate gradient (BiCG) method , stable bi-conjugate gradient (BiCGSTAB) method , the generalized minimal residual (GMRES) method applied MoM discrete large matrix equation . Through different numerical examples on their performance were compared. In order to improve the efficiency of the convergence of the iterative method , the thesis of pretreatment technology elaborated success inside and outside the iterative near-field pretreatment with AWE technology , greatly improve the computational efficiency of the target broadband RCS . Then the paper for the first time will be applied to the curve-fitting least squares fitting introduction to the study of the target of broadband electromagnetic scattering characteristics . Compared with AWE technology , take up memory in the process of this method is greatly reduced , at the same time guarantee the accuracy conditions improve computational efficiency , can be applied to the calculation of the large target broadband RCS . Finally, parallel computing , a preliminary study . Build a cluster computing system in the Windows operating system , the use of a personal computer , to the message passing interface (MPI) for parallel computing is widely used as a parallel environment , the first time AWE parallelization . Numerical examples show that parallel computing and the AWE technology combined effectively reduce the the large object broadband RCS calculation time .
