Abstract


With the era of the computer network , the people began to enjoy a variety of entertainment services via the network means learning all kinds of knowledge , and put forward higher requirements , and the family of digital media services . People need a convenient and reliable way to television and entertainment, education and training , and other digital media services in the home environment . Several mainstream digital media terminal program because of the limitations of the application environment , and can not serve ordinary rural home users . Therefore, it is necessary to study a new family of digital media terminal program to meet the demand of the majority of home users in rural areas of digital media services , is conducive to the development of China 's rural spiritual civilization . Address the problem , the paper mainly do the work of the following aspects : 1 . Analysis of the rural network environment , the needs of home users in rural areas of digital media services , as well as the Zhejiang Province rural information service platform \developed on the basis of functional specifications , technical specifications of the new digital home media terminal . The need for the system design and implementation , the key technologies involved in the development of research and analysis, and related technologies, including : streaming multicast technologies, reliable multicast transmission technologies , video-on-demand technology , infrared remote control technology , GUI design . According to the functional and technical specifications of the new digital home media terminal , home digital media terminal set based on Godson system implementations , and complete the development of the various functional modules . Focus on analysis of how to modify the open-source player MPlayer to support the Windows Media Server streaming multicast service . 4. Achieve a full-featured , easy to operate , user - friendly digital media terminal prototype . TV output mode for the media terminal designed graphical user interface, so that the present terminal supports the remote controller as its input device using an infrared remote control technology . The paper developed the digital media terminal prototype has passed the detection of relevant professional tests and demonstration application with the rural party members and cadres of modern distance education platform \
