Abstract


Under the development of modern exposition career influence, China participated in the Expo frequently, and more and more people traveled the World Expo. China had begun to develop their Expo career since 1906, and the development of national Expo career with home made products remaining predominant developed very well during the 1920s and 1930s. The development of Expo career affected the modern China deeply, and promoted the process of modernization in China actively. Meanwhile, special conditions in modern China affected the development of Expo career. But, political upheaval and financial difficulties and other reasons led to the development of modern China Expo deformity. The development of modern China Expo career was part of the process on China’s modernization. From the participation in Expo and the career of national Expo held two aspects, the paper will sort out the whole modern Expo career during two periods the late Qing Dynasty and period of Republic of China, try to show the whole process of Modern Exposition Career in China, and reveal the interaction between the career of Expo and the development of nation.
