Abstract


In contemporary society, consumption is the most basic way of human existence. Consumption is not only a way to satisfy their basic needs, have become a necessary means to build self-identity. However, conspicuous consumption, hedonism consumption and other consumption patterns of alienation of human slavery, not only the crisis caused by the human spirit, but also on the natural environment caused enormous damage. In order to overcome the current difficulties faced by mankind must re-examine and select the people’s daily life, from the pursuit of pleasure turned to the consumer life style harmony between man and nature of green consumption.Green consumption in China started late, development has been relatively slow. Consumer understanding of the concept of green consumption rather vague understanding of the meaning of green consumption is still relatively narrow. Based on the Suzhou City Survey and Analysis of consumers, green consumers who described the features, and according to the consumption level of their involvement in the process of classification of the green. In addition, the article also examines the green consumer motivation, consumer attitudes, consumer habits and consumption of content, try showing a current city residents overall condition of green consumption. Then, the green paper on the impact of consumer behavior-related factors were analyzed to try to find ways to promote the development of green consumption. The last part of the article, the author summarized earlier and summarized, draw relevant conclusions, and proposed green building policy recommendations related to the consumer society.
