Abstract


Microsoft Exchange Server is the e-mail service and collaborative systems produced by Microsoft , by e-mail to exchange information , achieve mutual cooperation between the members of the Working Group . Public Folder Microsoft Exchange Server to provide users with a very powerful information sharing features to meet user demand for information sharing , it is a shared folder , each using Microsoft Exchange Server , users can access through OWA or Outlook easily Public Folder data . SharePoint is Microsoft recently released an information exchange and collaboration network service platform , enables enterprises to develop an intelligent portal site , this site can seamlessly connect users, teams and knowledge . Using SharePoint as an information platform , people are better able to make use of information in business processes , work more effectively , and to really let the purpose of the information work together . , SharePoint has been more recognized by users around the world , using Exchange Server users have begun turning to SharePoint , in this process , users need to migrate Exchange Public Folder to SharePoint them go , so that the data to be able to continue in play a role in the new system . The results of this work I cooperate with others in a company during the internship completed a research and development project , mainly to study the feasibility of a data migration , Public Folder Data Access Technology and Public Folder with SharePoint data corresponding to the relationship , and the basis of the study on data migration from Exchange Public Folder to SharePoint , the completion of the Public Folder browsing expand the types of data migration , migration feature , developed with independent intellectual property rights , data migration tools - Migrator . , Migrator has been a number of European, American and Japanese companies adopt to meet the data migration needs of these users , creating a huge commercial value and economic value .
