Abstract

With the rapid development of computer and communications technology , global information networks is rapidly evolution to IP-based next-generation networks . Wireless communications , broadband, wireless broadband communications , increasingly fierce competition between the various communication technologies . However , any kind of wireless communication technology can not be divorced from the dependence of the spectrum resource , spectrum allocation is directly related to the effect of technology and development prospects . The radio spectrum resources are very limited , must ensure that the wireless communication system to run in the same geographic area in order to optimize the spectrum utilization , co-channel or adjacent-channel electromagnetic compatibility coexist . In October 2007 as a broadband wireless access technology WiMAX impact the success of 3G standards , such WiMAX is even more reason to take up 3G spectrum resources . Suitable for WiMAX operators in China are mainly 2.5GHz and 3.5GHz frequency bands , mainly operating in the 3.5GHz frequency band fixed satellite services , use of 2.5GHz band , fierce competition , WCDMA , cdma2000 and TD-SCDMA that band are high aspirations . WCDMA and WiMAX systems coexist simulation study for the configuration of 3G spectrum has a very important reference value . In this paper, for WiMAX and WCDMA system on 2.5G band adjacent channel coexistence , two systems , base station co-located at a distance , using static Monte Carlo method , using the macrocell scene simulation study obtained two systems coexist the the required ACIR the isolation value ; WiMAX uplink power control , the analysis comparing power control system coexistence WiMAX system spectral efficiency as well as WCDMA system . From the simulation , we get the following conclusions . First: the two systems coexist in the case , when the distance between the system base station is 0 , the interference between the base station and the base station , thereby to reduce the two systems between interference require ACIR larger value . Second : In the WiMAX system uplink power control , the WiMAX system can reduce its interference , but also to ensure the coexistence of the two systems , the interference of the WCDMA system . Case increases in the number of users per sector of the WiMAX system , the WCDMA system , the interference will be increased , the the ACIR value required will also be correspondingly larger . The simulation results for WCDMA and WiMAX actual promotion and commercialization of important reference value .
